Science Projects for Children

There are a lot of fun activities that you can do with your children. If you have a child who likes science, try some science experiments. Most of the time you can find the materials around the house. Here is a sample:

1. Place a hard-boiled egg in a glass jar.
2. Slowly pour in vinegar until the egg is completely covered.
3. Tightly screw the lid back on the jar.
4. Wait about a week - your child will love that...
5. After a week has passed, drain the vinegar from the jar.
6. Dry the egg with a paper towel.

You will find that the eggshell is dissolved. The remaining egg is rubbery. Try to bounce it. Don't let it drop too hard or from too high or you may have a mess.
